Myocardial Infarction in Young Adult: Diagnosis Begins with Inspection

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) represents an unusual form of myocardial infarction that is commonly observed in women. Connective tissue diseases including genetic vasculopathies are one of the important predisposing conditions leading to SCAD. We represent a 36-year-old male patient with anterior myocardial infarction who was diagnosed with vascular type Ehler-Danlos syndrome and reviewed the literature in this report.
